iDMS Message Flow
The iDMS platform is not simply a one-way broadcast out message system as is used in many emergency alert programs. Rather we provide two-way messaging capabilities for most situations as it offers a more robust communication medium where true interaction can occur.

One-Way Mode is a broadcast out system where messages defined in the iDMS delivery queue are sent out to one or more mobile members as defined by the Client Campaign Application. In this mode of operation, there is no return path with which the mobile recipient(s) can communicate back to the MCP Client through the iDMS.

Two-Way Mode is an interactive channel through which enterprises and organizations can interact with their audiences. Mobile users will have the ability to send messages to and receive messages from the iDMS as part of the campaign definition. This is the most compelling method of communication on the market.

One-way mode tends to be less reliable and more susceptible to wireless carrier network bottlenecks than Two-way mode.
