MCP can enhance an entity's fundraising campaign by sending select mobile messages in the form of SMS, or when appropriate richer content like video for the purposes of fundraising, creating issue awareness, event invitation or general informative messages. This is a unique channel as there is no spam and an entity has an "always on" means of contacting and activating their constituency. It is a far more dynamic means that traditional e-mail alerts or phone solicitation. With e-mail people are getting spam and messages of no relevance-many of which are pre-filtered to junk mail or not read at all. This does impact the relevant messaging unless the end user identifies. Cold calling is another traditional means of trying to solicit funds. However, it necessitates someone being home when calls are made and also if that person is not home making sure the message is transmitted to an identified party. Everyone has their mobile phone with them. MCP is not looking to displace traditional fund raising mediums, but rather enhance them. MCP can offer a total fundraising solution. This would encompass campaign creation, analytics, database management and transactional processing via the MCP call center. The client can opt-in for the entire solution or choose services ala carte.
